Kaleen

KALEEN HARRIS

KALEEN HARRIS, ESQ.
FOUNDING PARTNER & PRESIDENT

Kaleen Harris opened the firm in December 2011 and focuses on Family Law matters.  She works with her clients in a variety of capacities, including full representation, limited scope, or consulting.  Her experience encompasses all aspects of Family Law matters, including high conflict custody disputes, restraining orders, property division and complicated support matters.  She diligently strives to resolve all matters efficiently and effectively, keeping her clients informed through every step of the process.

She is currently a member of the Orange County Bar Association Family Law section. Kaleen graduated from Western State University College of Law, Magna Cum Laude. She was awarded the prestigious Scott McCune Memorial Scholarship two years in a row for her scholarly legal research and writing skills and served on Western State’s Law Review.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in Communications from Western Oregon University.

During law school, she worked in the WSU Legal Clinic providing free legal services to Orange County residents in the areas of Family Law and Conservatorships.  She interned as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Commissioner Renee Wilson in Orange County, and worked for two sole practitioners in both Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

Outside of work, Kaleen is an avid runner, competing in Half Marathons in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.  She consistently finishes in the top 10% of her age group. She enjoys the California beaches and sunsets.

Andrew Mckeown began working with the firm during the summer of 2014 after his first year of law school and continued working with the firm throughout his law school tenure.  During the Spring of his second year of law school, Andrew externed as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Commissioner Renee Wilson in Orange County. Andrew joined the firm as an Associate Attorney immediately after passing the California Bar exam on his first attempt.

Andrew graduated from Western State University College of Law, Cum Laude.  During his law school tenure, Andrew served on the executive board of Western State’s Law Review, honing his research and writing skills as the editor in charge of approving all student written articles.  Andrew also participated in Moot Court where he represented Western State University College of Law, competing at the largest family and adoption law competition in the country.  Andrew was recognized as one of the top 10 oralists in the country.  Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from University of California Riverside.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys hiking, backpacking, and exercising.  Andrew’s accomplishments include hiking the entire John Muir Trail, summiting the volcanoes of Mexico, and summer and winter ascents of California’s highest mountains.

MICHAEL JAKOVICH

LEGAL ASSISTANT

Michael Jakovich began working with the firm during the summer of 2019.  Michael is the first one to greet our clients and his friendly disposition helps put everyone at ease.  Michael assists both attorneys in serving and filing legal documents, ensuring deadlines are met, and prepping court documents for hearings. He manages the firm’s calendar, payments, and invoicing.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys traveling, golfing, baseball, and the Minnesota Vikings.  

Prior to working for the firm, he managed and operated a well known Southern California bakery and provided high end desserts around the country. 

Michael Jakovich

CELINA ESTRADA began working with the firm in the fall of 2022. Celina provides support for both attorneys by conducting legal research, performing document review, assisting with trial preparation, and drafting documents.

She will be sitting for the February 2023 California Bar Exam.

 

Celina graduated from Roger Williams University School of Law where was recognized for completing over 100 hours of pro-bono service, and became a certified mediator.

Celina uncovered her passion for family-related areas of practice during her first year of law school when she interned with The Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights Practice in New York. Throughout law school, Celina dedicated her free hours to pro-bono service. During the spring of her second year of law school, Celina was a law clerk for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and spent the majority of her time in the Family Protection Unit. Additionally, Celina was a PTLS certified summer intern for the Los Angeles County Counsel’s Dependency Division. Celina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Outside of work Celina enjoys running, hiking, mountain biking, and Dodger baseball.

Celina’s languages include English and Spanish.
